DOMiD is looking for support!

DOMiD is building a nationwide migration museum in Cologne-Kalk in the coming years with support from the federal government, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Cologne: the "House of Immigration Society" (working title). Personnel support is being sought for this forward-looking project with immediate effect.

The managing director, Dr. Robert Fuchs, explains: "This targeted call for tenders represents a milestone for our museum project. With the help of further support from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, we are thus placing the development of the museum on an even more stable footing. Project planning, curatorial development and administration are thus explicitly strengthened."

Interested parties can apply for the positions until November 22nd, 2022, and start work during the first quarter of 2023. All positions are initially limited until 2025.

The DOMiD personnel officer Timothy Tasch promotes the versatile tasks: "Whoever works at DOMiD can participate in a socially meaningful task. For the first time, the history and everyday life of migration in Germany will be made visible in a nationwide museum with the participation of future visitors. We are looking for people who enjoy working on solutions in an interdisciplinary team and dynamic environment, and for whom participatory participation formats and constant (self-)reflection are not foreign words."
