DOMiD is building a nationwide migration museum in Cologne-Kalk in the coming years with support from the federal government, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Cologne: the "House of Immigration Society" (working title). Personnel support is sought for this forward-looking project with immediate effect.
In this position, the responsibility lies on the organizational and administrative handling of the entire cultural construction project. The focus is directed towards project planning, project coordination and organizational implementation. The position is initially limited to three years.

Over the next years, the German Federal Cultural Foundation will be funding the DOMiDLabs. With these participatory labs, we are testing formats for citizen participation; results will be incorporated into the museum design.

The NRW state parliament also approved funds for the “Haus der Einwanderungsgesellschaft” in the amount of 22.13 million euros. The investment costs are borne in equal parts by the federal and state governments and are therefore secured.
