Opening Hours

Office open to the public only on a limited basis due to the pandemic:

Our office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld is only open to visitors on a limited basis despite the amended Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (as of 11.04.2022). For the protection of all visitors as well as our team, the 3G rule still applies (access only for vaccinated, recovered or tested persons).

Research in our archives as well as in the library is possible for 2 persons at the same time. Pre-registration must be made using this form https://domid.org/recherche/archiv/. Please do not show up until we have confirmed your appointment. In addition, a proof of immunity (vaccination or recovery) or daily updated test must be shown (3G regulation). On site, the known hygiene rules apply. These include keeping your distance, washing and disinfecting your hands, and wearing a mask, and taking contact information.

We are still available by e-mail and telephone. Due to increased work in the home office, there may be a longer response time in individual cases. Thank you for your understanding.

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (please note our remark on the left). Our hallway exhibition with selected objects from the DOMiD collection can be visited during this time free of charge and by appointment only.
