Opening Hours

Pandemic-related restrictions for the public: Our office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld is only open to visitors to a limited extent due to the amended Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (as of 14.07.2021).

A visit to the corona exhibition is only possible by appointment and is currently limited to three people. There may be waiting times. In addition, a vaccination certificate or a negative corona test issued by an official testing center and not older than 24 hours must be presented. On-site hygiene rules already in place apply, including keeping your distance, washing and disinfecting your hands, and wearing a mask, and taking contact information.

Two people can work in the library at the same time.

We are still available by e-mail and telephone. Due to increased work in the home office, there may be a longer response time in individual cases. Thank you for your understanding.

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (please note our remark on the left). Our showcase exhibition “Facets” can be visited free of charge during this time but only with registration in advance . At the entrance you will receive a short introduction and a reader (only available in German) for accessing the exhibition independently.
