Research
DOMiD is the "memory of the migration society". This knowledge about migration in Germany – since the post-war period – is available to all interested parties.
The knowledge is stored in the DOMiD archive collection, which can be accessed via a database that can only be used on site.
DOMiDs Archive and Library
The archive and the library are located in the DOMiD office in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Thelibrary is a reference library. This means that the collections can only be used in the reading room.
The number of research places in the DOMiD archive is limited and the interest is great. Therefore, please register your visit with sufficient advance notice via the respective registration forms.
Research in the archive and library is possible from Tuesday to Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
