Black History Month Guided Tour: A journey through Black history in our collection

DOMiD is also a place of Black history. Through selected objects, the history of Black people in Germany becomes tangible.

The guided tour reveals the diverse perspectives behind the objects in our collection. A focus is placed on the life stories of Black people who came to Germany as colonial migrants, students, workers, or refugees and became part of the immigrant society. The long history of anti-racist resistance and community building is also highlighted.
