"Shameless" - Reading & Discussion

Three young women* - Muslimas*, bloggers*, feminists* - take a position: how does it feel to constantly be torn between the expectations of their families, their cultural identity and their self-image as teenagers in a western country? They have stimulated discussions, made taboo topics public, and collected many very personal stories. This is a remarkable book, a courageous book.

The book "Schamlos" is a plea for tolerance, freedom, self-determination and a multicultural society.

We are very pleased to welcome two of the authors*, Sofia Nesrine Srour and Nancy Herz, to the reading and subsequent discussion at the premises of the DOMiD in Cologne.
